Remote ID is the ability of a drone in flight to provide identification and location information that can be received by other parties through a broadcast signal.

All drones operating in the specific category and all drones with class markings (C1/C2/C3/C4/C5/C6)operating in the open category must now be equipped with direct remote identification(DRI or Remote ID).

“Drone pilots who are unable to comply with the broadcast requirement of the Remote ID Rule will now have until March 16, 2024, to equip their aircraft. After that date, operators could face fines and suspension or revocation of pilot certificates.”

Compliant with prEN 4709-002, this standard mandates Direct Remote Identification for drones weighing over 250 grams and flying below 120 meters in the Specific category.

Approved by the FAA and compliant with ASTM F3411, which mandates Broadcast Remote ID for all pilots operating outside FAA-recognized identification areas.

Beacon transmits data via Bluetooth, making it usable globally. It supports all countries that adhere to ASD-STAN or ASTM standards.

Easily integrate the A-RID onto your drone, and it will immediately acquire DRI functionality through straight forward setup. This compact device utilizes Bluetooth 2.4G technology to relay the drone's precise location.
